Jobcentre Plus: - Local Employment Partnerships.
Government and employers working together to make the most of untapped potential in the community.
Effective recruitment. Strong communities. Better business.
Local Employment Partnerships (LEPs) are a deal between Government and business to tackle the increasing recruitment and skills challenges of our labour market and economy.
Thousands of employers across the country have already worked in partnership with Government to open up employment and training opportunities to disadvantaged jobseekers.
Working together has built stronger communities, better businesses and realised the untapped potential of those whose ability and talent has too often been overlooked in the past.
We at Clean Close Company are delighted to be involved with the Jobcentre Plus Local Employment Partnerships. Having already employed personnel through this process we look forward to continuing our close relationship with the Jobcentre team.
“Having come to Scotland from the Czech Republic finding work was difficult. Through the Jobcentre Plus Local Employment Partnership scheme I was able to gain employment with The Clean Close Company. It feels good to be part of a growing company who believe in the integration of cultures, both socially and within the work teams whilst helping my new community in the process”.
